How much abundance are you leaving on the table?

If you’ve been in the spiritual community for any length of time, you’ve no doubt heard by now that words have power. What we say, even in conversation with ourselves, lays the foundation for our overall mindset and experience. This is why positive affirmations and manifestations are so powerful.

Crash course: when we speak or think with intention, we are changing our vibration to attract accordingly. Your personal energy emits a frequency, and only experiences which match your frequency are attracted. Keep in mind a lot of what translates to our energy field stems from the subconscious level, so if you’re new to this idea please refer to my previous post “It’s a wild ride but it’s going somewhere good.”

Fun fact:

Abracadabra! We’ve all heard it. For me, it conjures images of magicians hired for birthday parties in the 90’s. Which was a great time, to be fair. However, this phrase offers a deeper meaning than most of us give it credit for.

It derives from the Aramaic words Abra (I will create) & Cadabara (as was spoken) which translates in our language to “I will create as I speak.”

Let this serve as a reminder that words are indeed powerful and should be chosen and spoken with intention whenever possible.

Let’s explore some ideas on refining this to get the best results.

When you are choosing your words, are you aiming for the best experience or settling for something less? How much goodness/abundance are you leaving on the table?

I catch myself saying higher good, better prosperity, higher timeline, etc.

But what exciting possibilities exist when we replace higher and better with highest and best? In what ways are we setting the bar too low?

The universe is very literal and very specific. As an example, one may be struggling to make ends meet and actively manifesting a “better” paycheck. This may result in something only marginally better, for example a small raise. It may take the edge off but will likely not propel you to the prosperity you deserve. Technically the universe delivered on your desire in this case, but if it wasn’t the result you were hoping for perhaps the answer lies in the limitations you imposed by only asking for “better.”

The opportunities and possibilities are, for all intents and purposes, limitless. My suggestion would be to manifest the “best” possible financial abundance. Why not? Why have better when you can have best?

This is not to suggest that you can simply state to the universe that you want the best outcome, and then put your feet up and wait for it. You have to do your part too.

A couple of suggestions would be:

- Be grateful for what you already have. Living in the frequency of gratitude attracts more things to be grateful for

- Do your shadow work. If you feel in any way unworthy of the best, you are likely subconsciously sabotaging yourself

- You may be tested before the blessing hits. Don’t allow set backs to persuade you, it may just be the universe preparing you for the next level

- Pro tip: throw out a good intention for the collective at the same time. Or for someone you know is struggling. Don’t impose a specific outcome, as we all have free will. But healing for the best good will work just fine.

If you need a little guidance I invite you to reach out using any of the contact methods listed below. I am happy to set up a 15 or 30 minute session with you to go over your goals, and we can work together to come up with the best wording to make sure you’re not leaving anything on the table.

15 minute sessions are offered at no charge for students (whether you’ve already come to a class or have put a deposit on an upcoming one.)
